Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
A message from our Principal
Our motto, “Strength Through Learning,” captures our belief that every student can achieve success when supported through Quality Teaching and Learning delivered with High Expectations in a culture of kindness.
We are proud to have been recognised by the Secretary of the Department of Education, Murat Dizdar, for our significant improvement in HSC results, with an increasing number of students achieving in the top three bands across subjects. This success reflects the commitment of our talented staff and the determination of our students to reach their personal best.
Our Literacy and Numeracy programs continue to show outstanding growth, with targeted classes designed to build strong foundational skills and ensure every student experiences progress in their learning.
At Sarah Redfern High School, we are deeply connected to Aboriginal Education. Through our Stage 4 Culture Classes and ongoing community partnerships, we embed cultural understanding, pride, and respect in all aspects of school life.
We are proud of our students — their resilience, kindness, and sense of community — and we look forward to welcoming new families who share our belief in the power of education to transform lives.
Lyndy Clowry, Principal of Sarah Redfern High School
