Graduation Reminder

It’s finally Year 12 Graduation this Friday!

Our team are preparing the final details to ensure a smooth and safe ceremony for all, here’s a final reminder for students and their attending families.

Graduating students must arrive to the Common Room by 8.45am in FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM; this includes black leather footwear. These students are also expected to attend a rehearsal the day prior (Thursday 12/11, 11.30am) and complete a sign-out process.

Guests who have been identified through the RSVP process are asked to arrive to the school entrance near the gym no earlier than 10.00am. Allocated tickets will be available at the entry under the student’s name; this was to avoid the loss of pre-issued tickets. The ceremony will conclude at approximately 11.30am.

There are strict COVID-safe protocols from the Department that we must abide by and these include:

* Two (2) members of a student’s family are permitted to attend the ceremony; however, strict social distancing protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of our local community.

* Tickets with allocated seating details will be provided upon entry to the site. Infants and children will be required to have their own ticket and are not granted additional places. The allocation of two (2) tickets per student cannot be transferred to another student.

* All attendees will need to complete a COVID-screening declaration upon entry to the school site, including hand santisation, temperature checks and allocated seating for the duration of the ceremony.

* Year 12 students will be required to maintain a social distance from community and staff members for the duration of the Graduation Ceremony, including our successful Transition students.

* We have arranged for a professional videographer and photographer to capture the event; these will be available to download via our website in the days following the ceremony. Unfortunately, family members must remain in their allocated seats for the duration of the event.

* At the conclusion of the ceremony, students and their families will be dismissed at intervals and will be required to immediately leave the school site following social-distancing advice. Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate the exchange of gifts and ceremonial leis due to the COVID-safe protocols.

We appreciate our community’s understanding and patience with these restrictions...and cannot wait to celebrate our students’ achievements!
