We have received our school community's Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) for the next fortnight and are preparing to distribute these to our students this Thursday 10 February. We are planning on doing this in the final period of the day so that students can take these directly home. However, we need parental permission first via an online form. For parents and carers, a link to provide permission will be emailed and text directly, as well as using this form.
If parents or carers would rather collect RATs from our front office, this can be arranged this Thursday (8.30-10am or 3-4pm) or during school hours on Friday.
In line with Departmental advice, RATs are requested to be completed at home in the morning before attending school twice per week (Monday and Wednesday morning). Stay tuned for a new video post with Science teacher Mr Rodgers demonstrating the simple instructions on how to do a RAT at home…
Note that if a student or staff member receives a positive RAT result, they need to: record the positive RAT result through the Service NSW website or Service NSW app; notify the school of the positive RAT or PCR result as soon as possible; and follow NSW Health advice to isolate for 7 days. Negative results do not need to be reported to Service NSW or to the school.
